Dr. Gunni will be 44 years old in Oct. His first public appearance was in 1980 shortly after discovering the wonders of punk music. Up to that he was a Beatle-fan. He is still at it, playing music that is, and released his newest album Inniheldur on good friday 2009. The album is available at www.this.is/drgunni/e24.html
In between 1980 and 2009 Dr. Gunni was in inventive rock bands S.H.Draumur and Bless in the eighties (comebacks pending) and inventive pop band Unun in the nineties. He also released totally fucked up noice music on the Finnish Bad Vugum label and a popular children’s album. In the 00’s he released solo album Stori Hvellur in 2003, hosted a Tv-quiz show about music and this and that (see: http://www.this.is/drgunni/bioensk.html for complete bio).
Dr. Gunni will appear with his newest sidemen, Kristján Freyr from Reykjavík! on drums and Haukur from Morðingjarnir on bass.
